API Host Partnership

GenGreen has developed an API (Application Programming Interface) that allows other organizations' websites to incorporate the various types of content we offer in different forms to fit their unique needs. Our API is versatile and dynamic, and can be easily integrated into virtually any business, organization or educational institution's online environment; public or private.

The way our API functions within our host partners' site varies from partner to partner. Currently, we have three integration options that can be customized for all levels and integration and/or technical sophistication -.

Our API offers live streams of data from our resource database, including local business listings, job board, daily eco tips, event calendar, educational resources and more. Because we are in the process of partnering with other 3rd party content providers we will soon be able to offer their content through our API as well. Our content covers over 20 different industries such as green building, recycling, food and dining and alternative energy, and is easy to customize by location or industry of interest, making the process flexible and easy. By hosting the GenGreen Life API on your website, your users have access to more information, action oriented solutions, and educational resources.

Endorsement Partner

Transparency is a key component to legitimacy in the environmental industry, and we suggest all of the businesses listed within our site be as transparent as possible. One way we help businesses accomplish this is through our Endorsement Partnerships. We have partnered with many 3rd party screening and certification companies which allow our businesses to display those certification marks on their listings within our directory. This allows consumers to know they are supporting a credible, and transparent company, and rewards companies who are doing all they can for the environment. We are adding new endorsement partners all the time, if one of yours is not listed here please let us know what other organization you would like to see us include.
