"I have been working with Gary Cappy and Miriam Melendez the owners of Grass Roots Press now for 4 years. We publish a small international art magazine called Mineshaft that requires very high standards of printing expertise. Grass Roots Press works with us in a highly personalized way that helps us to achieve the standard that we are looking for. Mineshaft was recently nominated for one of the most important awards in comics, the Harvey Award (2009), for the cover of Mineshaft #24. This wouldn't have been possible without the excellent printing that Gary did using a special two color process.

We also have printed business cards, posters, and post cards with Grass Roots Press. They come out excellent and are reasonably priced while at the same time being environmentally conscious using recycled paper and vegetable based inks. Grass Roots Press will give you the environmentally friendly alternatives that you want without hitting you with a high price that many printers will do. They also don't nickle and dime you, but give you a straight forward quote. I can't recommend them enough, they really make printing Mineshaft a pleasure and at the same time affordable!"
